The Sims 2 Free Download Full Version For PC

The Sims 2 is a great sequel and a great game in its own right, and it's recommendable to just about anyone. For some, especially the devoted fans that have enjoyed the first game's open-ended gameplay, which was all about controlling the lives of autonomous little computer people, this is all that really needs to be said. But considering that The Sims 2 is the sequel to what is reportedly the most successful computer game ever (and that's not even counting its many expansion packs), the new game almost seems like a victim of its own success. Yes, it introduces plenty of new features that enhance the gameplay that was so popular in the original game, but it doesn't drastically refresh it. It also features plenty of options to play with, but it seems like it could've used even more content. Then again, you could simply say that EA and Maxis are making sure the game has room to grow with future updates--and there's no denying that The Sims 2's additions will give dedicated fans of the series plenty of stuff to do.

In the most basic terms, The Sims 2, like The Sims before it, lets you create one or more "sims" autonomous characters with distinct personalities and needs. You then create a virtual household of one or more sims (you get to decide whether they're roommates, spouses, or parents) and move them into a house and a neighborhood that is either prebuilt or built from scratch. Your sims interact with each other and with their neighbors, children leave the house for school each day, and employed adults head out for work to earn a living in one of a number of different career paths. However, the sequel has several new options, including an enhanced neighborhood editor that lets you import custom cities from Maxis' own SimCity 4, if you have that game installed. Plus, there are expanded building options that let you build a much bigger house.

The sequel also features enhanced appearance editing tools that let you customize your sims' clothing, hairstyle and hair color, and also let you make many adjustments to their facial features. Oddly, the editor doesn't let you adjust your sims' height or their build (beyond making them "normal" or "fat"), but it, along with the "body shop" utility, should let most players basically re-create whatever characters they want to from their favorite TV shows or movies.

More importantly, sims maintain their family ties (assuming you don't have any dramatic family squabbles), so if you decide to really hunker down and build out an extended clan, you can start with a carefully designed family or group of families, let them get married, and let them have children. You can then watch the children grow up and move out into their own places. And since sims are still autonomous and go about their lives even without supervision, you can expect to later receive visits from doting grandparents (or mooching grandchildren, depending on whose household you decide to control). Again, like memories, these are features that will reveal their rewards with the extra time and effort you choose to spend on them.

In The Sims 2, your characters actually grow old and even die of old age (or other causes, if you're into that kind of thing). Like with the original game, sims can and will die from neglect and extenuating circumstances, and if you're one of those sadistic players that enjoyed making your sims suffer, you'll still be able to do this in the sequel. However, if you're the sort that might really get involved in your sims' lives and history, you may look at aging as a way to build a rich and storied life for your sims. Yes, it can take several hours of play to age a sim from a baby to a senior citizen; however, if you're really looking to create an entire life for your sims, you'll find that as senior citizens your characters will not only look older, but will also look back on a long string of memories and possibly a large family tree filled with weddings and grandchildren before they eventually pass away, to be mourned (or not) by their children. It might also be worth mentioning that even though you can go through different generations of your sims' families, the time period of The Sims 2 never changes, so you won't see any technological or chronological progression. That is, you won't go from horse-drawn carriages to jalopies to modern-day sports cars--all your sims will still be watching plasma screen TVs and playing SSX 3 on their home computers, regardless of how many generations you've gone through.

Then again, you may also look at aging as a challenge, because The Sims 2's most significant gameplay addition, the aspiration/fear system, can actually help your sims stave off old age. The new system gives your sims one of five aspirations from which to choose (in addition to their personalities, memories, and personal relationships), including building a family, earning money, seeking knowledge, experiencing romance, or being popular. These aspirations boil down to four simpler goals that are clearly displayed onscreen, as well as three basic "fears." Each sim has an "aspiration meter" that fills up whenever you complete a goal and empties out whenever your sims' worst fears are realized. These goals can be as immediate as throwing a party where everyone enjoys themselves, or as long term as eventually winning another sim over as a best friend or spouse. These fears can be comparably straightforward or long term, such as being rejected from trying to make a romantic advance or getting fired from work.
Taken together, the aspiration system and career system provide some much directed, goal-oriented gameplay, surprisingly reminiscent of a challenging role-playing game, of all things. These new features not only add variety to The Sims 2, but also address a common criticism about the first game: how it didn't present any clear goals or objectives beyond dutifully ordering your sims to relieve themselves every time their "bladder" needs got out of hand. But using this new system to successfully create a household of fulfilled sims can be very tough since you must also balance their relationships, their jobs, their income, and their moods at the same time.

Dead Island Riptide Free Download For PC

Dead Island: Riptide is an action role-playing survival horror video game developed by Techland and published by Koch Media's game label Deep Silver, released in April 2013 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The game is a sequel to 2011's Dead Island, with a plot continuation as the five survivors arrive on another island in the Banoi archipelago, which has also been overrun by zombies. Deep Silver attracted strong criticism for marketing the game with a statuette of a mutilated female torso.
Riptide takes place immediately after the ending of Dead Island, with the four immune survivors - ex-American football player Logan Carter, rapper Sam B, Hong Kong police officer Xian Mei, and Australian bodyguard Purna - landing on an aircraft carrier after escaping from the prison island. They are immediately taken into custody by the ADF Colonel Sam Hardy and Frank Serpo, a civilian VIP. In the ship's brig, they meet another immune survivor, soldier John Morgan, who claims Serpo stopped the military's evacuation. The player can find excerpts of Morgan's diary throughout the game, showing the military eventually decided to simply firebomb the entire stricken area.
Passing out from sedatives applied when they were examined, the player's character wakes up to find the ship overrun with zombies. Serpo flees via helicopter shortly before the ship, out of control, crashes into a rock. They regain consciousness again on the shore of the island of Palanai and are found by Harlow, a WHO researcher, who tells them the zombie infection has spread there as well. After saving a holdout of survivors they meet Colonel Hardy again; he tells the irate immune that Serpo's organization is interested in weaponizing the Kuru strain that caused the zombie outbreak and, as with Banoi, anuclear strike against Palanai is planned to purge the infection and cover up the evidence.
At Hardy's suggestion, the survivors decide to travel to the city of Henderson, hoping the nearby army base may offer help. With no intact bridges or working boats, the survivors instead investigate an underground tunnel to reach a pier. A researcher based in the jungle, Dr. Kessler, tells the immune that he believes the zombie-creating virus mutation was created by exposure to chemical weapons. He warns the player these were stored in the tunnels, and that they could act as a mutagen to turn the virus in the immunes' bodies into something they can no longer suppress.
As the immune clear the tunnels, Harlow exposes a secretly infected survivor to the chemicals to see the results; the survivor turns into a giant monster. Shortly afterwards, when attacked by a holdout of escaped prisoners who have seized the pier, the survivors go into an involuntary, prolonged fury. Kessler explains this was probably the result of fumes from the chemical weapons acting as a mutagen, but tells them they should be fine if they avoid further exposure. The survivors subsequently reach Henderson, but as they entrench themselves in an old movie theater, Harlow abandons them.
The immune find the military base was overrun and contact Serpo; he tells them there is no nuclear strike planned, that Hardy is not to be trusted, and agrees to send a helicopter to evacuate the survivors. Hardy freely admits he made up the nuclear strike to stir the survivors to action, and in turn insists Serpo is untrustworthy and only intends to evacuate the immune to continue his research. When Serpo's helicopter arrives, Hardy attempts to board it first to prove this. Serpo warns him to let the immune off first, then has him shot. The survivors proceed to shoot the helicopter down.
Finding Serpo alive near the crash site, he tells the immune that Harlow is not only immune, but also a terrorist looking to seize data and a vaccine from a quarantine zone. When the survivors storm the lab in the quarantine zone, they find Harlow; she tells them the outbreaks were started deliberately to test the virus, and there is no vaccine. Harlow, however, is in a violent rage, having had the mutagen tested on herself by the lab's staff. Convinced the immune are too dangerous to live, she takes the mutagen again and attacks them, prompting the other immune to inject themselves with it as well to kill her.
When the immune find a boat, they are greeted by Serpo again, he freely admits to orchestrating the outbreaks, but offers the immune medical help if they come with him. The immune instead leave him to the zombies and evacuate the island with the other survivors in their party. Six days later, their boat washes up on another island, apparently abandoned. As the game ends, growling is heard from the inside of the boat, and the doorknob to the hold is turned open from the inside

IGI 2 Covert Strike Free Download PC Games Full Version

IGI2 Covert Strike. is a computer game developed by Innerloop Studios and released by Codemasters in 2003. The game is a stealth based first person shooter. It is the sequel to Innerloop’s Project I G I 1I’m Going In. The original, published by Eidos Interactive, offered only single player play. Chris Ryan, a former Special Air Service operative best known for being the lone successful escapee of Bravo Two Zero, served as a consultant to the game. The box art is similar to the poster for GoldenEye.

The game’s plot features a rogue Chinese General, “Wu Xing” as the primary antagonist. Xing orchestrates various events (such as armed robbery of advanced prototype technology from the Russian mafia) in order to get Electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weaponry on a space rocket that he has launch control over. At the end of the game, the protagonist David Jones is finally able to defeat him and stop the launch. The game was banned in China, because it “intentionally blackened China and the Chinese army’s image”. It received generally negative reviews by critics.

Missions and Storyline

The game is divided into missions, and the story is presented in cut scenes, shown before and after every mission, with animated characters rendered in real-time and pre-recorded speech. This approach is similar to other games in this genre, which don’t rely on video, instead providing a comparable quality of visual and dramatic appeal, reusing the same in-game 3D engine for cut scene rendering.

Missions have objectives that must all be completed before the mission ends.

Straight-forward tactics are not encouraged, with stealthy and covert movement giving the player a better rating, rank and chance of survival, with the highest attainable ranking entitled David Jones.

Multiple paths exist for every mission, with the most obvious and daunting being a noisy gun-fight, because in every mission Jones is outnumbered anywhere from 20-1 up to 50-1. Every mission presents an opportunity for large groups of enemies to be bypassed or sneaked past, undiscovered. Certain missions even require entire operations to be carried out undetected, i.e. without giving enemies a chance to sound the alarm, as the name Covert Strike suggests.

At the start of a new game, a difficulty level can be chosen, changing the number of bullets Jones takes before dying, the intelligence of the enemy and group AI, and the number of save games available.

God Of War 3 PC Game Free Download Full Version

God of War III is a third person action adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). First released for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) video game console on March 16, 2010, the game is the fifth installment in the God of War series, the seventh and final chronologically, and the sequel to God of War and God of War II. Loosely based on Greek mythology, the game is set in Ancient Greece with vengeance as its central motif. The player controls the protagonist, Kratos, the former God of War, after his betrayal by his father Zeus, the King of the Olympian Gods. Reigniting the Great War, Kratos ascends Mount Olympus with his initial allies, the Titans, until he is abandoned by Gaia. Now guided by the spirit of Athena to search for the Flame of Olympus, Kratos battles monsters, gods, and Titans in a search for Pandora, the key to pacifying the Flame surrounding Pandora's Box, and to defeat Zeus. Successful, Kratos kills Zeus and ends the reign of the Olympian Gods.
The gameplay of God of War III is similar to that of its predecessors. The game focuses on combo based combat, achieved through the player's main weapon the Blades of Exile and secondary weapons acquired later. The game features quick time events that require the player to complete various game controller actions in a timed sequence to defeat stronger enemies and bosses. The player can use up to four magical attacks and a power enhancing ability as alternative combat options. The game also features puzzles and platforming elements. In addition to its similar gameplay, the game features a revamped magic system, an increase in the number of onscreen enemies, further interaction with the environment, new camera angles, and downloadable content.
One change that we first saw in the E3 2009 demo, which resulted in a bit of controversy, is that the quick-time event button prompts that come up during kill moves are now situated at the edges of the screen, allowing you to watch what's happening and use your peripheral vision to see which button to press rather than have the prompts appear over top of the action. I'm a big fan of this change as it allows you to pay attention to the action rather than waiting to see what button appears next.
God of War III begins immediately after the events that conclude its predecessor. Kratos stands on the shoulder of Gaia, urging her and her fellow Titans to climb Mount Olympus and strike down the gods once and for all. This incredible scene follows the trend set by the previous games in the series, kicking off your journey with a jaw-dropping experience that will immediately suck you into this epic adventure. The defining characteristic of your plight as you climb this sacred mountain is a breathtaking sense of scale. The Titans you are traveling with are gigantic. Kratos is but a mere speck on their colossal bodies, and the camera zooms and pans so you can fully appreciate the size disparity of these reluctant allies. The ground you run across is part of a living creature, flexing and swaying as you dispatch the enemies who dare stand in your way. The game seamlessly shifts from a bird's-eye view of this epic climb to an extreme close-up of Kratos in combat, and it's simply stunning that there are no dropped frames or other graphical oddities to lessen this effect. The feeling that you're riding a towering giant is conveyed brilliantly, and the game only gets better from there.

Half Life 2 Free Download FUll Version For PC

Half-Life 2 is the sequel to the original Half-Life, taking place decades after the events in the first game. At the start of Half-Life 2, the G-Man speaks to Gordon Freeman as part of a hallucination-like vision, telling him that his "hour has come again." Freeman then finds himself out of stasis, in a world twenty or so years after the events of Half-Life, and riding a train into City 17, unarmed and without his H.E.V. suit. Details begin to slowly emerge: City 17 (as well as the rest of the world) is under the rule of a totalitarian administrator named Doctor Wallace Breen, the former administrator of the Black Mesa Research Facility. However, Breen is merely a puppet head of state who is carrying out the will of the alien rulers known as the Combine. Attracted to the planet by the portal storms, the Combine mounted a brutal assault on humanity, in which the forces of Earth were completely overwhelmed in the Seven Hour War. The Combine now has near-absolute control over the entire planet, with only a few pockets of human resistance remaining. Doctor Breen enforces his rule (and, by extension, the Combine's rule) through armies of Civil Protection units (also called "Metropolice" or "Metrocops") and Combine soldiers (referred to as the Overwatch).
Half-Life 2 is an immersive first person shooter from the developers at Valve Software, the creators of the original Half-Life. Building off of the riveting storyline and gameplay of the debut title, Half-Life 2 pushes the envelope even further and has once again "raised the bar" of the FPS genre. Using Valve's own built-from-the-ground-up "Source" engine, Half-Life 2 offers interactive physical environments, intense realism and impressive graphics, all bundled together with a masterfully-crafted storyline.
Released on November 16, 2004 after nearly 5 years of development, Half-Life 2 was recieved grandly, winning over 35 Game of the Year awards for 2005. To date, Half-Life 2 has sold over four million copies, 25% of which have been purchased using Steam, Valve's digital content delivery system. In addition to the PC version, Half-Life 2 has been ported to Xbox and will be released for both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 in 2007.
Players once again assume the role of scientist Gordon Freeman, but this time Gordon finds himself in a post-apocalyptic environment—apparently a result of the Black Mesa Incident. With Earth's human population oppressively held in prison-like urban centers, its natural landscape ravaged by the effects of Xen infestations and a whole new enemy that has viciously annexed the human race into its ranks, the future of mankind seems bleak at best. Looks like it's once again up to Gordon to save the day!
